IMPORTANT!
I’m went dark in protest of the SOPA/PIPA legislation. Since then, the number of senators opposed to SOPA/PIPA has increased by ninefold. This is really important! Especially for artists and arts facilities! Please read more about it: http://sopastrike.com/strike/ and PLEASE contact your reps.

UPCOMING PROJECTS:
I will be working on three projects with Baltimore Lyric Opera: La Traviata, Le Nozze de Figaro, and Faust. Their website is here: Baltimore Lyric Opera
BACKGROUND:
I have been stage managing for eight years in educational, community, and professional forums.
Very early in my career I worked with Wildwood Summer Theatre, a 501(c)(3) with a mission in educating theatrically-minded youth in theatre. I assistant stage managed one show for them, then went on to stage manage twice. I was elected to the Board of Directors in my second summer and was elected Chairman of the Board in the following season. I served three terms as Chairman of the registered non-profit.
I graduated from the University of Maryland, where I stage managed two student directed productions, assistant stage managed two mainstage productions, and stage managed three mainstages.
As an intern, I assistant stage managed Permanent Collection at Round House Theatre, Bethesda and returned to work on their crew on Around the World in 80 Days. I also assistant stage managed Shadowboxer, a world premiere opera with the Maryland Opera Studio, stage managed the Maryland Shakespeare Festival’s summer tour of Romeo and Juliet and stage managed Play Nice! at Venus Theatre.
Most recently, I worked at the Center for the Arts. At CFA my job title was Assistant Stage Manager, but I served as a secondary stage manager for the Concert Hall. I assisted on large rental events and series presentations, I served as stage and office support for the production office, and I stage managed smaller concerts and series/rental events. We work mostly with dance and music concerts as well as touring dance and opera presentations.
